Ryan Johnson matched Logan Gilbert for six innings — each struck out seven — and the difference came down to a 2-2 changeup that Josh Lowe drove over the center-field wall. Julio Rodríguez's sixth-inning double, which left the bat at 111.4 mph, tied things briefly, but Lowe's home run came three batters later and neither bullpen blinked from there. Seattle left six men on base in a game where one more hit would have flipped it.
