Walker Jenkins hit his second home run of the season in the ninth inning to tie it, and Mike Trout ended it in the tenth with a line drive single to left. Taj Bradley and Walbert Ureña both went seven innings, each striking out nine, and neither figured in the decision. Yoendrys Gómez came in to protect a one-run lead and faced four hitters — he recorded one out. Trout's single scored Jose Siri, and Wade Meckler followed with another single to bring Zach Neto home, and the lead had changed hands three times by then.
