Colorado had fifteen hits and left twelve men on base — a lineup that kept reaching and kept stopping, inning after inning. Montes put a 107.6 mph fly ball into the right-field seats leading off the ninth, his fourth, and Andrés Muñoz struck out two in the bottom half to finish it. Bryan Woo gave ten hits in 5.1 innings and still left with the score level, which only makes sense when the club behind you strands a dozen. Fifteen hits and four runs is a ratio that loses games, and Colorado lost this one by a single swing in the ninth.
