Bryce Miller left with one out in the sixth, charged with no earned runs, and the Mariners' bullpen gave back the lead in the seventh — Ferrer allowed two hits and two runs on four pitches, and Cooper Criswell walked two more before Cole Carrigg's two-run single made it 5-3. Cal Raleigh's home run in the first left at 111.7 mph and traveled 459 feet, a no-doubter on a 90.4 mph sinker, and it was the only comfort Seattle had all night. The Mariners committed three errors behind their pitchers, and Colorado left eight on base without needing them. Randy Arozarena's home run in the third was the last run Seattle scored.
