The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The lead changed three times. Ben Ross hit the first triple of his season in the fifth and scored on Luke Keaschall's sacrifice fly to tie it at two — the kind of small play this game turned on. Shay Whitcomb's two-run single in the fourth had put San Francisco ahead; Keaschall's homer in the third had opened the scoring. In the seventh, Walker Jenkins singled home Kody Clemens on a first-pitch curveball, and Josh Bell followed with a line drive to center that scored Jenkins. That was the margin. Dylan Smith took the loss: two-thirds of an inning, two hits, two runs. Connor Prielipp went five and a third for Minnesota and left with the game tied. Andrew Morris saved it with a strikeout-heavy ninth.
