Trevor Rogers gave the Orioles seven innings — three hits, four walks, five strikeouts, 88 pitches — and did not allow a run until Luke Keaschall's sacrifice fly in the eighth. Baltimore's two runs came in the seventh, on Colton Cowser's fly ball to left and Blaze Alexander's ground-ball single through center. Joe Ryan matched Rogers for five and a third, allowing one hit with seven strikeouts, and left at 85 pitches with the score still level. Ryan Helsley struck out the side in the ninth on 19 pitches, and Minnesota left seven on base across nine innings and scored their only run in the eighth.
