Eury Pérez left after seven innings — five hits, three runs, eight strikeouts, 93 pitches — with the game tied and got nothing for it. TJ Rumfield and Ezequiel Tovar hit their first home runs of the year for Colorado, and Liam Hicks matched them both with a sac fly and a two-run shot, also his first. Jaden Hill took the loss when Caissie's ground ball to center scored Otto Lopez in the eighth. Calvin Faucher got the win and Pete Fairbanks needed nine pitches for the save. Pérez threw seven innings and struck out eight and did not factor in the decision.
