Kris Bubic worked six innings with two hits, one run, and four strikeouts. Matt Wallner's home run in the second — 424 feet off an 83.8 mph sweeper — was Minnesota's only run. Kyle Isbel answered in the same inning with a two-run homer, his first of the year, and that was the ballgame. Isaac Collins added insurance in the seventh with a solo shot off a 90.4 mph sinker. Simeon Woods Richardson allowed two earned in five innings and lost. John Schreiber needed fifteen pitches for the save. Minnesota managed four hits.
