Bo Bichette drove in New York's first run in the first and the go-ahead run in the fifth. His groundout scored Francisco Lindor to open the scoring, and his line-drive single in the fifth brought Carson Benge home. Clay Holmes went 5.2 innings with four hits and two earned runs. Jared Young's double left the bat at 113.5 mph and drove in Brett Baty in the sixth, and Juan Soto walked with the bases loaded that same inning. Nolan Gorman's second home run of the year traveled 419 feet at 110.3 mph. Kyle Leahy allowed four earned in five innings. Devin Williams needed twelve pitches for the save.
