Andre Pallante walked three and gave up three hits in five innings, and the Mets never solved him or anyone after him. Iván Herrera's two-run double in the third was all St. Louis needed, and Ramón Urías added a home run in the seventh for the third run. Kodai Senga struck out nine in six innings and took the loss, which is the kind of line a starter carries home knowing he did his part.
