Elly De La Cruz opened the fourth with his first double of the year — a ball that left the bat at 111.9 mph and traveled 32 feet — and scored on Sal Stewart's single. That was all Brandon Williamson needed. He went 6.2 innings, gave up three hits, walked one, and struck out four on 93 pitches. Tyler Stephenson's eighth-inning homer, his second of the season on an 83.8 mph slider, provided the second run. Janson Junk pitched 7.1 innings for Miami and took the loss: 87 pitches, 57 strikes, two runs, one walk. Brock Burke, Tony Santillan, and Emilio Pagán finished the shutout without allowing a hit. Miami had three hits all night and left five on base.
