Cody Bolton threw 42 pitches in the first inning, walked four men, and gave up two runs. Logan Gilbert threw 85 pitches in seven innings, allowed four hits, and the only run he gave up was Yainer Diaz's first home run of the year — a 105.9 mph line drive to left in the fifth. Luke Raley tripled in the sixth, his first of the season, and drove in two, and Cole Young and Julio Rodríguez both drew RBI walks earlier, which tells you something about the strike zone Houston was working with. Yordan Alvarez hit into a double play at 107.9 mph off the bat, the hardest contact of the night, and it produced two outs and nothing else. Gilbert struck out seven and walked one, and Houston had five hits and scored once.

◆ diamond fills = run scored
⚫ the out it made (1, 2, or 3), in that runner’s box
2‑4 a runner retired on the bases (caught stealing, picked off), written small in his box as the chain that got him
one dot per run driven in (RBI)
PH · PR · → a substitute badged by his name — pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive sub
A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
