Chase DeLauter's first triple of the season cleared the bases in the eighth — a line drive to left that scored Angel Martínez, Brayan Rocchio, and Steven Kwan. Kyle Manzardo followed with a single to bring home DeLauter and José Ramírez, and five runs crossed in the inning. Houston had taken the lead in the fifth on Yordan Alvarez's two-run single, and Carlos Correa added one in the seventh. Enyel De Los Santos faced four batters, allowed two hits and three earned, and took the loss. Peyton Pallette threw twenty-one pitches in a scoreless inning and got the win for his trouble.
