The game was close until Enmanuel De Jesus came in, and then it was not. He allowed seven runs on seven hits in an inning and a third, and Milwaukee turned a two-run lead into a blowout. Garrett Mitchell tripled and scored in the eighth, and Brice Turang drove in three across two separate innings. The Brewers had sixteen hits and left seven on base. Keider Montero gave up three earned in five and two-thirds and took the loss. Gary Sánchez tripled for the first time this season, and Mitchell's triple was his first too. Detroit used four pitchers after Montero, and two of them gave up multiple earned runs.
