Ten strikeouts in six and a third innings, and Emmet Sheehan still didn't factor in the decision. He left with a lead that the bullpen couldn't hold — Dansby Swanson tripled in the seventh, the first of his season, driving in two — and then Swanson hit a two-run home run in the ninth off Tanner Scott to win it. Ryan Rolison threw three clean innings for Chicago, and Corbin Martin struck out the side in the ninth. The Dodgers collected six hits all night. Scott faced three batters, gave up two hits, and took the loss.
