Bennett Sousa faced five hitters in the seventh, walked four of them, and both runs scored. Carlos Correa had tied the game an inning earlier with his second homer of the year — off an 83.8 mph sweeper — and Austin Wells put New York ahead with a solo shot to right before Sousa came in and turned a one-run deficit into three. Ryan Weathers went 5.1 innings, allowed two earned, struck out four, and Fernando Cruz got the win by retiring the two hitters Weathers could not. Steven Okert was the only Houston reliever who did not allow a run.
