Nolan Arenado swung at a 0-1 sinker in the fourth and hit it out to left center with two on — three runs that turned a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 lead Arizona never gave back. Brandon Sproat gave up that homer and took the loss, leaving after 4.1 innings with four earned on six hits. Eduardo Rodriguez walked four in 4.2 innings but kept it close enough, and Kevin Ginkel came in and struck out three over 1.1 clean innings. Ketel Marte and Corbin Carroll each homered in the ninth, Marte's at 109.9 mph and 409 feet. Adrian Del Castillo's solo shot in the fourth had started the rally, his second of the year.
