The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.

Shea Langeliers hit two home runs for the Athletics — a two-run shot in the first and a solo blast in the fifth, his ninth and tenth of the year — and it did not matter. Cleveland scored four in the fifth to take the lead for good, José Ramírez's two-run double on a fly ball to center the swing that put them ahead. Austin Hedges's first homer of the season, an 85.5 mph cutter sent to left center in the third, was the kind of moment a backup catcher waits months for. Jacob Lopez took the loss: 5.1 innings, eight hits, six earned. Luis Morales gave up five more in two innings of relief. Both teams had 14 hits, and only one lineup turned them into 14 runs.
