Both starters threw the game of their night and neither got a decision. Chase Burns went seven innings of three-hit baseball and struck out seven. Braxton Ashcraft went seven and two-thirds of four-hit baseball and struck out six. Tony Santillan came in for the eighth, walked two, and gave up Oneil Cruz's single on a 95.5 mph fastball — a sharp line drive to center that scored Konnor Griffin, who had doubled at 108.2 mph. That was the ballgame. Gregory Soto got the last four outs for the win. Joey Bart challenged two calls in the eighth and both were overturned. Burns threw 94 pitches. Ashcraft threw 82.
