Tomoyuki Sugano carried a shutout into the sixth, and then four runs crossed — a Carson Benge homer to right center, a Luis Torrens double that scored Francisco Alvarez, and a Mark Vientos single that drove in two. Sugano's line finished at five and a third, four earned, one strikeout, on 61 pitches. David Peterson got the win in relief with four innings and six strikeouts, and Devin Williams needed eight pitches for the save.
