Erick Fedde took the loss with 4.2 innings and 4 earned, but the game turned in the fifth — Zach Neto's home run, his sixth of the year, tied it, and Nolan Schanuel's double two batters later scored Trout to put the Angels ahead for good. The White Sox left eleven on base. Chase Meidroth's seventh-inning homer cut it to one, and Ryan Zeferjahn came in for the four-out save, striking out three and walking two on 33 pitches. The White Sox had runners in scoring position in the eighth and ninth and did not score.
