Kumar Rocker threw five innings of three-hit, zero-run baseball — four walks, three strikeouts, 97 pitches — and left with the game scoreless. Jake Burger's three-run homer in the fifth put Texas ahead. Arizona trailed 3-1 entering the ninth, scored three to take the lead, and then gave up three to lose it. Paul Sewald retired two batters in the ninth and was charged with three earned runs. Jacob Latz did not retire any. Burger, who hit the three-run homer earlier, singled in the winning run, and Danny Jansen followed. Arizona left thirteen on base.
