Roki Sasaki threw 69 strikes in 91 pitches over seven innings, walked nobody, and struck out eight — four singles was all the Angels could manage. Grayson Rodriguez was gone after 3.2 innings, seven earned on seven hits and four walks, and the Dodgers scored five times in the fourth to settle it. Shohei Ohtani's two-run single in that inning came on an 82.6 mph curveball and left the bat at 106.5 mph. Mike Trout's double in the fourth left at 109.6 mph and scored the only run for the home club. Andy Pages drove in two, Hyeseong Kim drove in one, and the Dodgers did not commit an error in a game they led from the second.
