Jordan Walker hit a three-run home run at 112.1 mph in the sixth to give St. Louis a lead, and by the ninth they had lost it. José Fermín's home run tied it in the bottom of the ninth, and in the eleventh, Riley O'Brien allowed the winning run without giving up a hit — a walk, a fielder's choice, and a review that upheld the call at the plate. Spencer Steer scored the winning run on a ball that never left the infield. Seventeen runners left on base between the two clubs, and the game ended on a tag play at home.
