Six Washington home runs in the first three innings settled this early. CJ Abrams put the hardest swing of the night on the ball — 109.8 mph, 403 feet to right, his twelfth of the year — but the sixth homer was just the loudest of them. Tanner Bibee lasted three innings on 61 pitches. Zack Littell gave the lead room with 70 strikes out of 106 across seven innings, and Dylan Crews doubled for the first time this season, one quiet mark on a card that had few.
