Victor Bericoto's first home run of the year — a solo shot to right-center on a 2-0 sinker in the fifth — was all the offense San Francisco produced, and all it needed. Webb went seven innings, gave up one hit, walked one, and struck out four on 95 pitches. Robert Gasser matched him for five frames and took the loss anyway, the single run on five hits over 83 pitches. Milwaukee managed three hits all night and left four on base.
