The Mariners loaded the bases in the fifth, and Josh Naylor got a 94.8 mph fastball at 0-1 and drove it over the right-field wall — a grand slam, four runs, and Seattle did not trail again. Pete Alonso's sacrifice fly to center in the third had given Baltimore its only lead. The Orioles put six hits on the board and left ten men on. Andrés Muñoz struck out two in the ninth for the save. Randy Arozarena added an RBI single in the eighth, and Blaze Alexander answered with one of his own for Baltimore, but the deficit was three and stayed three.
