Trey Yesavage walked six Yankees in five innings and still won, because New York left nine on base and never assembled the inning all that traffic promised. Okamoto's two-run homer left the bat at 111.4 mph, and Kirk doubled in the first and singled in the fifth, each time driving in a run. The Yankees scored three in the fifth and gave two of them straight back — Guerrero Jr. doubled home one, Kirk followed with the single that scored him — and that exchange was what settled a game Toronto led from the first.
