Ewing's double to left scored two on a 92.7 mph fastball, and Brett Baty followed with an RBI single on an 83.0 mph slider. Freddy Peralta took the mound with a 4-1 lead and gave Atlanta five innings of one-run ball on 90 pitches. Ewing hit his second home run of the season in the fifth, and Juan Soto's two-run single in the eighth scored Bichette and Benge. Atlanta managed four hits, committed two errors, and left six on base. Elder needed 75 pitches to get through four innings.
