Daniel Schneemann's grand slam in the fourth — Cleveland's first hits of the game — tied it at four, but Jackson Chourio answered two batters later with a two-run homer, his tenth. Milwaukee had already scored four in the first two innings off Gavin Williams, who gave up seven earned in five innings. Chad Patrick came in relief and struck out seven over 3.1 innings, allowing one hit, and Cleveland didn't score again after the fourth. Andrew Vaughn and Cooper Pratt added RBI hits in the eighth.
