Freddie Freeman's two-run shot to center in the sixth — his twelfth — turned a one-run deficit into a lead the Dodgers protected the rest of the way. Shohei Ohtani pitched six innings for the win, allowing four runs on seven hits, and every inning mattered because Alex Vesia walked three in the ninth before striking out the final batter. Tampa Bay's fifth was the loudest inning of the night: four runs on a sacrifice fly, two singles, and a forceout. It was also the last inning the Rays scored.
