Cleveland's three runs in the third — Rocchio doubling home Bazzana, Hoskins following with a two-run homer — were all they would manage. Tatsuya Imai struck out 11 over six innings without walking a batter, and by the time the sixth ended, Jose Altuve had driven a 93.2 mph fastball out to left with Alvarez and Paredes aboard. Jeremy Peña homered twice, his second a solo shot in the seventh, and the Astros added three more in the eighth on RBI hits from Altuve, Meyers, and Peña. Tanner Bibee took the loss, allowing four runs — three earned — over 5.1 innings on 95 pitches.
