Chris Sale went five and two-thirds without an earned run, struck out seven on 101 pitches, and left with the game tied — no decision for a start that deserved one. Aaron Ashby came in for the ninth and gave up Albies's second homer of the night, a two-run shot that turned a 2-3 deficit into the final score. Sale allowed two runs, neither earned, in 5.2 innings. The win went to Dylan Lee for a clean eighth.
