The seventh inning is where Arizona's lead disappeared — three runs on four hits off Juan Morillo in a single frame. Jose Cabrera had thrown five scoreless and left with a two-run lead built on Ketel Marte's two-run double, a 108.8 mph line drive on an 78.1 mph sweeper. Minnesota's bullpen threw four scoreless behind Mike Paredes, and Anthony Banda needed ten pitches for the save. Arizona left eight on base and scored in one inning.
