The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.

Shohei Ohtani singled in a run in the third and pitched six innings to earn the win, which is the kind of line that makes a one-run game feel less precarious than it should. Joe Ryan struck out nine in six and took the loss, because the Dodgers collected ten hits to Minnesota's eight. Mookie Betts's ninth home run opened the scoring in the second; Ryan Kreidler's two-run single in the same inning was the biggest swing the Twins managed. Tanner Scott threw fifteen pitches in the ninth and struck out two.
