Jacob deGrom struck out eight over six innings and left trailing 2-1. Wyatt Langford's 437-foot home run in the fourth had briefly put Texas ahead, but by the time the Rangers scored again they were down three. Cole Winn threw fifteen pitches in the eighth, recorded two outs, and the swing that settled it was Otto Lopez at 106.2 mph off the bat, 427 feet to left center. Pederson's eleventh home run of the year came in the ninth and the Rangers did not score again.
