Hurston Waldrep walked four in two innings, struck out three, and did not allow a run. Reynaldo López had thrown fifty-seven pitches in three innings before him, and the score was 1-1 when both were done. San Francisco committed two errors and could not push a second run across. Trevor McDonald gave up three in 5.1 innings — Dominic Smith's RBI single in the second, Ozzie Albies' RBI single in the third, and Albies' sacrifice fly in the fifth. Rafael Devers' first-inning double, his twenty-fourth, drove in the Giants' only run. Raisel Iglesias needed ten pitches for the save. Atlanta used six pitchers and allowed one run.
