Ten strikeouts meant nothing next to five walks — Cease threw 107 pitches and recorded fourteen outs before the fifth inning took the game apart. Burger singled in a run in the first and another in the fifth, Osuna singled two home in the same inning, and Piñango's two-run homer went 415 feet to right center. Alejandro Kirk's second home run of the season came in the sixth, and Toronto got no closer than three. Peyton Gray struck out four in two and a third of one-hit relief, and Tyler Alexander needed fifteen pitches for the save.
