One out is what Faucher got before the Marlins had to take the ball from him, and the four hits and four earned runs he allowed in that third of an inning turned a one-run game into a rout. Jake McCarthy hit a two-run homer in the fourth and singled in two more in the sixth, finishing with four RBI for Colorado. Michael Lorenzen walked six in four and a third innings but stayed in long enough, and three Rockies relievers combined for one hit over four and two-thirds scoreless. Miami had six hits.
