Matt Olson homered in the fifth and again in the eighth, solo shots both, his 21st and 22nd. Christian Scott threw 82 pitches in four innings for the Mets, walked four, struck out seven, and the two hits he allowed included Michael Harris II's two-run homer in the second. Juan Soto's two-run blast in the third had briefly tied the game before Ozzie Albies answered in the same half-inning. Grant Holmes gave Atlanta five innings and allowed one earned. The Mets had 10 hits and left 10 on base. Raisel Iglesias gave up three hits and a run in the ninth and still collected the save.
