The Braves left 15 runners on base and lost by a run in ten innings, and every one of those 15 is going to sit in somebody's chest. They led twice. Matt Olson hit his 23rd and 24th home runs — the second a two-run shot in the ninth that answered Juan Soto's three-run blast in the same inning — and still it was not enough. Luis Torrens won it with a two-run double in the tenth on a ball he lined to left. Raisel Iglesias gave up the three ninth-inning runs that erased a 3-2 lead. Owen Murphy took the loss in the tenth. Atlanta had 13 hits, drew the walks, put the pressure on, and the line says they should have scored nine.
