Five Baltimore relievers held Houston scoreless for the final five innings after Dean Kremer allowed two runs in four, and the last lead change of three came when Ward drove an 82.2 mph sweeper to left center with Adley Rutschman on base — his 7th of the year. Lambert had struck out ten on 104 pitches, allowing one earned run, but Bryan King gave up both eighth-inning runs and took the loss. The Astros left eleven on base and never scored after the third.
