Eleven innings, and the runs that won it came from a groundball single to second baseman Jose Altuve that Gunnar Henderson scored on. Tyler O'Neill's 11th-inning RBI was followed by Leody Taveras lining a single to right that brought Taylor Ward home, and Enyel De Los Santos took the loss — two hits and two runs, one earned, in his inning. Trevor Rogers had given Baltimore 6.1 innings of one-run baseball with eight strikeouts, and Yordan Alvarez tied it in the 10th with a ground-rule double down the right-field line that scored Lucas Spence. Josh Hader struck out three in a clean 9th and did not factor in the decision, and Houston never held a lead.
