The third lead change was the one that held, and it belonged to Evan Carter — a home run to right field in the 6th that scored Ezequiel Duran and put Texas ahead for good. Tyler Kinley entered in relief and was charged with three earned runs without recording a full inning. MacKenzie Gore got the win despite five earned in 5.2 innings, and Jacob Latz threw 1.1 scoreless for the save. Atlanta committed two errors, and the Rangers left ten on base and still scored seven, which says something about how many chances both teams kept handing each other.
