Hunter Dobbins pitched six innings of six-hit shutout ball without walking a batter, and Reid Detmers matched him through five before Wetherholt drove a 91.9 mph fastball 409 feet to center in the sixth. That was the ballgame. The Angels put seven hits on the card and left eight on, which is the line of a team that kept knocking and never got the door to open. Riley O'Brien needed 26 pitches to get through the ninth, walking two and striking out three, but he got there.
