Cooper Pratt and Brice Turang each drove in runs in the fourth to build a five-run lead, and Logan Henderson had already done his part with 5.2 shutout innings and seven strikeouts. Luis Lara hit his first triple of the season in the seventh, a two-run line drive to right that made it 7-0. Landen Roupp threw 84 pitches to record eleven outs — four runs, four hits, three walks — and the San Francisco bullpen had to cover seven innings. Bryce Eldridge's two-run homer in the eighth made it 8-2, and that was the closest San Francisco got.
