Hunter Brown went 5.2 innings and gave up two runs on six hits, which on most nights earns you a win and a handshake. Here it was the whole margin, because Nathan Eovaldi gave back six in five, and the Astros kept adding — Isaac Paredes and Christian Walker went back-to-back in the fifth, Joc Pederson and Yainer Diaz followed in consecutive innings. Cam Smith legged out the second triple of his season, and Houston left 12 on base. The Rangers did not score after the sixth.
