Kumar Rocker gave up 10 hits in 5.1 innings and left trailing 3-2, which was about all you could ask after that much contact. Brandon Nimmo's 11th homer leading off the 7th tied it at 3, capping a climb from three runs down. Tyler Alexander and Cole Winn then faced seven hitters and allowed four hits and four runs in two-thirds of an inning. Yordan Alvarez's 108.2 mph double to right plated two and stretched the lead to four. Houston left 12 men on base and still won by that same four.
