Rogers went six innings, struck out nine, walked none, and allowed two runs on three hits — 93 pitches, 62 for strikes. Jose Siri added a solo shot in the 6th, and Leody Taveras hit a two-run homer in the 8th to widen the margin. Reid Detmers gave up three earned in four innings and took the defeat for Los Angeles. The Angels committed one error and managed four hits. Andrew Kittredge closed it on six pitches, five for strikes.
