Dustin May threw 66 pitches in two innings and gave up seven runs — seven hits, two walks, one strikeout. Dominic Canzone's two-run double in the first started it, and by the time the second inning ended, the Mariners had a lead Milwaukee spent the rest of the night chasing. Joey Ortiz did the answering: a two-run homer in the second, a sac fly in the sixth, an RBI single in the eighth — four RBI in a game his team lost by two. Logan Gilbert walked four in five innings and still got the win, because May had already given him more than enough.
